A medieval village featuring a characteristic circular plan. A high tower and a fortification overlook the village, but they were partially destroyed by the 1915 earthquake and by World War II.

Monuments
Remains of the ancient village; Parish church opposite the square, where steps and a fountain are placed; ruins of a pagan temple dedicated to the goddess Mifite in the Canneto Valley, overlooked by the shrine of the Madonna Nera (Black Vergin).
Interesting facts and places
The village rose up on the remains of Vicus, an ancient pre-Roman settlement, and owes its name to the Benedictine monks, who chose it in honour of Saint Felicitas' seven sons, killed in 164 AD in Rome during the persecution of Christians.
Celebrations
San Michele Arcangelo in the hamlet of Pietrafitta (May, 8th); Santo Stefano, Patron Saint (December, 26th); other religious celebrations and festivals; Maria Santissima di Canneto (August 14th to 22nd) and "Sagra delle Quattro Regioni e dei Cento Paesi" (festival of four regions and one hundred villages).

Celebrations during the "Sagra delle Quattro Regioni e dei Cento Paesi", both in the old town and in the Canneto Valley. "Borgo con Gusto" (local food festivals during the summer).
Gastronomy
Pan'a moll' (stale homemade bread with vegetables, legumes and pork rind), sagne con fagioli (pasta with bean sauce).
